Kyrgyz Cuisine Cultural Curiosities
You are invited to an afternoon at Leyburn Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, 03. November at 4 pm to hear Candy Rogers' niece, a British vet working amongst the nomadic livestock farmers of Central Asia. Come along to find out about the challenges of farming in the shadow of snow-capped mountains, the tradition of bride kidnapping and living out faith on the front line. Pictures will illustrate the talk, which will be followed by a Bring & Share tea. Please come and bring your friends. All welcome.
