Thank you to those who have signed up to indicate your interest in taking part in Bible Month 2017! As you know, the biblical book we'll be focusing on for the month is the letter of James, an epistle that challenges us to live out the faith that we confess.
This is the second of a number of occasional circulars that we'll be sending out in the lead-up to the initiative, and please do get in touch if you have any specific queries about running a Bible Month in your own church or circuit.
This is a quick update to let you know that the videos from the Sheffield Bible Month Training Day are now available at the Bible Month Website. For those who were unable to make a training day, these can be a great way to catch up on the two key sessions. Watch the videos.
On the website too, you can download some of the promotional Bible Month videos for your church or circuit as well as accessing a PDF copy of the Bible Month training day magazine. A supplementary guide to the Bible Month magazine — including prayers for each week — is also available on the website.
At the Bible Month Training Days, we also gave out fliers about the Community Bible Experience, which could be a useful follow up to a Bible Month. For details of this approach click here.
Another possible way of following up the Bible Month, and especially among young people, would be with the Navigate Course, developed by the Bible Society and the Methodist Church.
Do let me know if you require any further information or advice on running a Bible Month in your own church or circuit.
