Readers of the "Yorkshire Post" will have read the article by Archbishop John Sentamu in Monday's issue. He set up the charity Acts435 in 2010 to help 5,000 people in its first years. It has already helped over 10,000. He needs more advocates (ie links between, say, a church or circuit and those needing help) to help run the charity. Please go to www.acts435.org.uk to get more information about how it works linking requests for help to donors. You can browse the list of requests and refine your search to a particular region and/or type of request.
Acts 435 is a revolutionary website that allows people to give money directly to others. Managed through a network of churches and local charities, their goal is to get 100% of your donations quickly to those in need.
